Hard Surface and Human Character Modeler
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute poly modeling, brush sculpting, and detail high resolution digital doubles with costume for feature film projects; service and maintain geometry
- Work with production team to make sure each model is designed and developed to project specifications and is performance ready
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- CG experience constructing polygon character models and UV mapping skills
- Experience in creating blend shapes and a familiarity with character rigging
- Expertise in organic poly modeling using Max strongly preferred
- Expertise in brush sculpting and detailing using ZBrush or Mudbox
- Basic knowledge of shell scripting tools preferred
- Skill in drawing and sketching desirable
- Good sense of human anatomy and face sculpting
- Feature film experience strongly preferred
